The Houston Dynamo Academy continues to develop top flight amateur players. On Tuesday afternoon, the Houston organization had three players named to the upcoming U.S. U-17 National Youth Camp.

Andre Gitau, a 15 year old attacker, is no stranger to being called into the U-17 camp. He most recently participated in the MLS Next All Star Game last month in Minnesota and started for the West team. In the past year, he has been named to the Rising XI prior to the Generation Adidas Cup and he was selected to the "Best Of" U-16 players at the MLS Next Cup this past June.

Ezekiel Soto, also got a call to camp. In his second season with the Dynamo Academy, this is fourth national youth camp. He most recently participated in a pair of friendlies back in March with Gitau. When he was selected in May, he was the youngest to be invited to the U-17 camp.

Goalkeeper Nolan Anderson who joined the Academy this year earned his first call-up. He will be part of the Academy squad that will begin play next month in MLS NEXT.

The Houston Dynamo Academy along with the Philadelphia Union's had the most players selected for the camp. Eventually, the trio may play with the U-17's in the 2023 CONCACAF Championships in Guatemala next February. In addition, four teams will qualify to play in the 2023 FIFA U-17 World Cup next year in Peru. This is a Dynamo trio that may have a long international road ahead in the coming year.
