Houston Dynamo forward was named to the MSL Soccer team of he Week following his brace against Nashville SC on Sunday night. This is his third honor of the season.
The 24 year old forward has lived up to his reputation as the Houston Dynamo signed him to be their goal scorer. He has done that nearly all season although there was a recent lull between matches of late. Sunday night's performance was recording breaking for the young Paraguayan international. With his two goals he set the single season scoring record for a Dynamo player in his first season with the club. Ferreira has won match left this coming Sunday October 9th at PNC Stadium.
"It's very nice, personally I prepare myself for nice things," said Sebas about his goal. "It's a record within the club, I'm very happy because it's the result of the work we do every day. I want to continue scoring goals here, be historic for the club. The goal is to be the club's top scorer. It's not easy and it's a long job."
He was also named to the team following a brace in Week 6 and again in Week 16.
