The Houston Dash earned a 1-1 road draw on Saturday night against the Racing Louisville FC. The draw gives interim head coach Sarah Lowdon a 1-1- record in her first three matches at the top spot. The Dash went on top in the 77th minute but could not manage the match to the end.

After a scoreless first half, the Dash found the go ahead goal with a little help from Lady Luck. Katie Lund, Louisville's keeper stopped the initial shot but the ball caromed off the crossbar right to the feet of Nichelle Prince. The Canadian international wasted little time giving Houston the lead.

The lead was short-lived as former Dash forward Jessica McDonald leveled the match in the 82nd minute. McDonald played for the Houston in 2015 scoring 7 goals in 20 appearances.

Houston and Racing Louisville were meeting for the third time this season. Racing had lost to the Dash twice in the 2022 Challenge Cup play. In the regular season, they are still looking for their first win after losing one and drawing two. Houston is now 1-1- in the NWSL in 2022.

Houston wraps up their three game road trip with a May 21st trip to Portland. Kick-off with the Thorns is slated for 5:00pm CT.
