You can just never have enough attacking forwards, can you? If you are the Houston Dash, the answer is an emphatic NO. Since June 27th, the Houston Dash with the signing of Tiernny Wiltshire have now acquired three more forwards.
Wiltshire most recently played for Ligat Nashim in the Israeli Football League. Houston is familiar with Wiltshire and what she brings to the team as she was a trialist with the Dash prior to the start of the 2022 season.
The Jamaican international signed a contract with Houston through the end of the season. She has been called to the Jamaican team for international duty in September. Her first call-up came in 2019 and she has earned caps with the senior team.
A dual citizen, Wiltshire scored seven goals in 14 appearances for Ligat Nashim across all competition. She played collegiately at Rutgers and scored the equalizer in the 2019 Big Ten semifinal tournament match against Michigan.
Wiltshire will be available for selection on Saturday night against the Washington Spirit at PNC Stadium. Kick-off is slated for 7:30pm CT.
