Houston Dash sign goalkeeper Devon Kerr

Canadian international Devon Kerr's career has come full circle as her signing with the Houston Dash was released on Friday afternoon, January 6, 2023. Kerr began her career with Houston first as a non roster invitee in 2019 and then earning a contract in April of the same year.
The Barre Ontario native signed with the Washington Spirit in 2020 and eventually made her professional debut at the 2022 Challenge Cup. Kerr had three regular season appearances with the Spirit last season earning her first career clean sheet on July 17th in her home debut.
Both Kerr and Dash GM Alex Singer were exited about this reunion.
“It was always my dream to play soccer at the professional level,” Kerr said. “Having the opportunity to re-sign with the club in the city I started this professional journey is another dream come true. It is incredibly special to me.”

A former standout with The Ohio State University, where nearly one third of her 63 appearances ended in a clean sheet, Kerr will help back up Houston goalkeeper Jane Campbell.
