Houston Dash sending seven players to international duty

As the international break is upon on the ladies side of soccer now, the Houston Dash sending seven players to be with their national teams. Each year, it seems the list grows bigger for the Houston Dash. The invites are proof positive that the Houston Dash are a team of extremely talented players.

Houston forward Rachel Daly leads the group of internationals. Daly has missed the last three matches with her team as she prepares for the Lionesses upcoming Euros. Daly has 48 caps and seven goals for the English senior side.

Forward Nichelle Prince, mid-fielder Sophie Schmidt and defender Alyssa Chapman will all be part of the Canadian Women's Team. The trio will try to lead Canada to the 2022 CONCACAF Women's Championship in July.

Forward Maria Sanchez will represent Houston as member of the Mexican National team. It is expected that at some point She will face the Houston Dash Canadian triumvirate as both battle for a CONCACAF title.

Two more Houston Dash players will represent with their nation teams at the 2022 African Women Cup of Nations. Forward Micaela Abam will represent Cameroon while Michelle Alozie will be part of the Nigerian teams.

Once again the Houston Dash are one of the top most represented clubs internationally during the break. The stellar representation speaks to the quality of the Houston side.

Houston resumes NWSL action at home July 1st against Kansas City at PNC Stadium.
